Continental Access Offers Integrators
New Account Services & Revenue Stream
Continental Access, a division of Napco Security Technologies, Inc., access control pioneer, creator and manufacturer of its own software and hardware solutions, has just released a powerful new version of their enterprise class software, version 2.9. Continental Access Control’s CA3000 version 2.9 software, not only provides robust access control functionality and seamless integration with alarm systems, but it also provides integrators with the capability of central station monitoring of access control and intrusion events. This feature opens up a whole new source of recurring revenue income for Continental’s access control integrators by enabling them to enhance customer service levels and provide a valuable, billable service directly to their accounts. Continental Access Control’s new software lets dealers monitor, their systems round-the-clock, whenever an end-user facility’s security is compromised by intruders, e.g., forcing a door open, presenting unauthorized or fraudulent access card credentials and many other forms of attempts to breach of security. With improved Central Station Reporting, endusers are also able to report alarm inputs to a central station over an Ethernet connection.
